About the Rajasthan Judicial Services

RJS Vacancy 2025
The RJS Vacancy 2025 has been announced through the short official advertisement released by the Rajasthan High Court. Pursuant to Rule 7 read with Schedule-III of the Rajasthan Judicial Service Rules, 2010, 44 vacancies have been determined for the Civil Judge Cadre for the year 2025 (up to December 2025) . The vacancies are categorized as follows:

Out of 44 vacancies, 02 posts are reserved for candidates with benchmark disabilities:

(e) Multiple disabilities from among the above categories, including deaf-blindness, in posts identified for each disability.

RJS Eligibility Criteria 2025
The RJS eligibility includes age limits, educational qualifications, and other details.
1. Age Limit
The aspirant must be more than 21 years of age and must not exceed 40 years of age.

2. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a law degree from a recognized law university.
3. Nationality
Candidates must be permanent citizens of India.
4. Character Certificate
Candidates must possess good character. They must not have pending cases or criminal records to be eligible for the civil judge position in the Rajasthan High Court. Moreover, candidates must have a clean record and should not have been engaged in anti-social or unlawful activities.
Further, they require 3-character certificates: one issued by the Dean of the college or the Principal/ Academic Officer of the institute in which they last studied—and the other 2 character certificates from the responsible persons not related to them.

After the notification, the High Court of Rajasthan will release the application for a civil judge. The application dates will be available after the official RJS notification. Eligible candidates can apply through the Rajasthan Judicial official website.

The Rajasthan Judiciary Syllabus 2025 is divided into three stages:
Preliminary Examination (Objective Type): The Preliminary exam is an objective-type exam that tests the candidate's knowledge in subjects like Law, Hindi Proficiency and English Proficiency.
Main Examination (Subjective Type): The Mains exam 2025 is a descriptive-type exam that tests the candidate's knowledge of subjects such as Civil Law, Criminal Law, and Language.
Interview: The Interview is the final exam stage, where candidates are evaluated on their personality, communication skills, and general awareness.
