Eligibility Criteria
• The person appearing for the exam must be a citizen of India.
• It is now mandatory to have practice continuously as an Advocate for a minimum 3 years or exceptional law graduates with outstanding academic result who have secured aggregate of 70% minimum marks for General category and 50% for OBC during there law degree are eligible
• You are eligible for the MP Judiciary Exam 2025 only if you satisfy the age limit criteria prescribed by the exam conducting body. Otherwise, your candidature will get cancelled.
• According to the official notification, your minimum age should be 21 years as of 01 January 2025. The upper age limit to apply for the exam is 35 years.
However, age relaxation is given to certain categories as per the Government norm.

MP judiciary pay scale
The pay scale for the Madhya Pradesh judiciary varies depending on the position and grade.
Civil Judge The basic pay for a Civil Judge in the Madhya Pradesh High Court is between ₹27,700 and ₹44,770 per month. The total monthly salary for a Civil Judge in the Junior Division is between ₹50,000 and ₹70,000.

MP Judiciary Selection Process
The MP Judiciary Selection Process is carried out in the following process:
Prelims Exam: The MP Judiciary Prelims Exam is the main phase of the MP Judiciary recruitment where the candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the online test. There are 150 multiple choice questions in the prelims exam which is of 150 marks. Candidates who score above the cut off marks can appear for the mains exam.
Mains Exam: This is the second phase of the MP Judiciary Selection process. The mains exam is a descriptive method of testing candidates. It consists of 4 papers which will be of a total of 400 marks, 100 marks each. The candidates who secure the cut-off marks in this section will be eligible for the Interview process.
Interview: In the interview round, the candidate’s general knowledge, standards of law, and appropriateness will be evaluated. The interviewer will ask a series of questions to the candidates. The interview round will be held for a maximum of 50 marks. For selection it is mandatory for the candidate to score minimum 40% marks I.e. 20 marks.
Only the marks obtained in the mains exam and interview round will be considered for final selection.
.MP Judiciary Civil Judge Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
The MP Judiciary Prelims Exam is an objective-based exam having a total of 150 questions. Each question is allotted 1 mark with no negative marking. It is a qualifying paper and the marks obtained in this exam are not considered while preparing the merit list.

Interview
The interview round will be the last round of the MP Judiciary Exam selection process.
